I have had a deep interest in microscopic life for many years. With my mother as a Clinical Microbiologist and my wife as an Astrobiologist, I have been lucky enough to have access to more microscopes than most.

Through these microscopes, I hunt for organisms in the various samples I have taken, and compose each shot cinematically. The tools of photography are used, aided by a special mount, and a DSLR capable of shooting 1080p hd video. In the studio, each image is color corrected by hand, keyed and composited to create a moving photo montage.
