    Ina is currently Assistant Professor in the School of Art, Design and Media, Nanyang Technological University, Singapore. Drawing on her long career as a painter and sculptor, she merges polysensory hybrid painting methodologies, avant-garde filmmaking and sound cultures into meaningful, immersive 3D animated public installations. In an effort to define the relationships between technology, materiality and aesthetics, her recent research is crossing into experiential 3D stereo animated pictorials spaces and new emotive based digital animation experiences.

    Ina holds a BFA from the University of Belgrade; and an MFA in Arts from the University of California, Los Angeles. She continued her studies in Tokyo’s National University of Fine Arts & Music, and Kyoto Seika College as a Japan Foundation Fellow. Ina has been exhibiting in Europe, USA, Japan and Singapore and is a member of the Slovenian Fine Art Arts Association, Singapore-China Association for Advancement of Science and Technology, (SCAAST), and has been a Japan Foundation Fellow since 1991

Title: Dreams, Experimental animation
Synopsis:

A kaleidoscopic journey into a cross-cultural exploration of imagery and sound, Dreams is a dematerialization of objective reality into an expression of emotive experience and abstraction. The piece was inspired after my collaborative work with acclaimed Indian choreographer and dancer Raka Maitra and musician Philip Tan, for a piece titled Boundaries performed at the Gallery Theatre, National Museum of Singapore, Xposition 'O', Aug 17 2007.
Dreams, is the winner of the Prize of Effort for the Singapore Regional Award of the 10th DigiCon6 contest hosted by TBS, Tokyo Broadcasting System, INC. Digicon 10 Singapore, computer graphic animation competition, Oct 2008. It was also screened at IMI/ADM Demo-Graphics, ISEA Conference Singapore, July 2008 and was part of the PIXELPOPS! 2008 exhibition at Krannert Art Museum University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, USA, Nov 2008 Jan 2009.

Stereo version of the film was selected and screened at the Dimension 3 International S-3D and New Images Forum Festival, Seine-Saint –Denis, France, June, 2010.
