Based on footage from the Prelinger archives, The art of video art uses vintage TV commercials to create a visually retro essay about the ontology of video art and the art of the televisual age. The imagery is combined with a sample from an early 1980s synth pop song called Suis-Je Normale by French pop singer Nini Raviolette. It has been widely shown in festivals in Europe, including the prestigious Madrid Abierto.
